IT was all change at the top of Gilt Edge Short Mat Bowling League with Invincibles, who had slipped to second, regaining top spot.
They were made to struggle against the Aces, drawing the first half 8-8, but coming back strong to take the second half 18-4.
It included a Hot Shot Six from their trio of Bob Sharman, Dave and Pauline Hall.
Previous leaders Telly Tubbies came unstuck against Tornadoes, losing the first half 12-4 and the second 10-4 as their opponents moved into second place. Wribbenhall had the tightest game, losing the first half to One for the
Road 13-7, but winning the second 9-3 to tie the game and remain in third spot.
The most surprising result came when after drawing the first half 8-8 with fourth-placed Brintons, Crusaders romped away with the second 12-2 to go fifth.
A basement battle saw between bottom-placed Dire Straits take on second bottom Breakaways.
Breakaways just edged the first half 9-7 but in the second half Dire Straits put up a brave fight taking the last three ends to tie the half 9-9. Sadly they still remain anchored to the bottom 12 points adrift.

On the county scene, the Worcestershire Premier side played at Northamptonshire, trailing in the first session 12-4, but recovering after lunch to tie the match 18-18.
