CRICKET-loving Worcestershire turned out in force to see BBC cricket correspondent Jonathan Agnew and former England captains Mike Gatting and Graham Gooch in the stage version of Test Match Special.
Though the link to the immortal Radio 4 cricket coverage is somewhat tenuous, there was no doubting the pleasure these three, hosted by Ralph Dellor, brought to an audience who contributed cakes and questions of high quality.
The chat ranged from fearsome West Indian attacks to dodgy umpires in Pakistan, to the glories of the Adelaide Oval, the nightmares of touring with Phil Tufnell and Gatt's legendary appetite.
Cricket is a game made for anecdotes, stories and bar-room argument and for anyone who loves cricket chat, this is an evening of delights. The extensive tour moves to the Everyman in Cheltenham on Sunday, October 31.
