IT was more about the grooves than the tunes when Carbon/Silicone took to the stage at Worcester's Drummonds Bar.
Fronting the band was ex-Clash musician and punk pioneer Mick who has teamed up with former Generation X star Tony James to form the band.
The music could be best described as punk-funk, which was evident in tunes such as I Loved You, and Jump Into The Fire.
Mick may not be the world's greatest singer but he has an ear for an infectious rhythm. Carbon/Silicone, a four-piece band consisting of two guitars, bass and drums, have been together for two and a half years. Their sell-out gig in Worcester was a blow-away success.
