BRIAN Humphries is closing in on John Amos in Amazing Feet's race league with four races left after the Bells of Pattingham seven-mile multi-terrain race.
Humphries was one of 15 of the club's runners to compete, coming 19th in 45 minutes 42 seconds, with Amos 86th in 51-58.
Sarah Armstrong, who is lying third overall, just one point ahead of Craig Lewis, finished 88th in 52-01, while Lewis was 42nd in 48-31.
Armstrong has an unassailable lead for the women's trophy, but Sarah Leiws (528th, one hour 7-39) has moved within two points of third place and 11 points behind current runner-up Faye Evan .s
