HATS, handbags, shoes and scarves will be among the fabulous array of hand-made items tempting shoppers at the first Passion for Fashion event in Worcester.

Organisers have invited a select group of individual designers and crafts people to take a stand at the event, which they hope will become a fashion highlight of the year in Worcester.

Shoppers will be able to buy everything a fashion fan could hope for, from beautiful underwear and linen to fine jewellery and beauty products.

A total of 27 stalls will be taking part in the event, which is to raise money for St Richard's Hospice.

"If you are looking for an extra-special Christmas gift for someone, or just treating yourself, you will be sure to find something lovely at Passion for Fashion," said St Richard's community fund-raiser, Alison Weston.

"Entry is free and it is a rare treat to find all these fantastic items under one roof."

Passion for Fashion takes place at Worcester's Guildhall on Saturday, October 23, from 9am to4pm.

There will be a private view and sale tomorrow with Malvern-based auctioneer Phillip Serrell, of BBC Flog It and Bargain Hunt fame, taking bids for items.
