ARTISTS from across Worcestershire have their masterpieces on display to raise awareness of mental health issues.
Organisers at Worcester Porcelain Museum, where the exhibition is being staged until Sunday, October 31, say they are thrilled with the work.
"October is one of our busiest months and we are delighted to host this selection of quality art work," said museum manager Amanda Savidge.
"Past experience shows that our visitors appreciate contemporary and multi-media art and we expect to receive a considerable amount of interest in the show."
The exhibition, entitled A Matter of Mind, showcases the creativity of people in Worcestershire who have experienced some form of mental ill health.
"The work has been created using artistic expression as a positive outlet," added Ms Savidge.
"It promotes the use of art as a physical and spiritual activity, which improves mental health."
Jayne Gaze, artist and exhibition co-ordinator, based at Shrub Hill Workshop, said: "This exhibition promises to be stimulating and thought provoking.
"We hope that visitors will enjoy the work which may help to remove some of the stigma that is associated with mental health."
