A CREDIT card machine was among items stolen from a Cookley pub, with the thieves also taking cash earmarked for charity.
The Eagle and Spur, in Castle Road, was broken into between 1.30am and 8.30am on Monday.
The chip and pin pad credit card machine had been leased from Barclaycard.
Also taken during the break-in were 15 CDs worth £225, a £100 stereo, a tin of Hamlet cigars worth £25 and nine packets of Amber Leaf tobacco, with a combined value of £25.
An old whisky bottle in which coins were being collected for charity and a Severn Area Rescue Association charity box, both containing small amounts of cash, were taken in the thieves' haul.
PC Belinda Sparkes, of Kidderminster police, said: "Chip and pin machines are still quite unusual if they were offered at a car boot sale.
"We are appealing for anyone with information about the burglary or who sees the machine offered for sale to contact us on 08457 444888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
