CHADDESLEY Corbett suffered yet another West Midlands League Division Two defeat, losing 4-0 to Brereton Town.
Defensive slip-ups in the first half were Chaddesley's downfall, as Brereton notched up four goals before the beak.
However, in the second period, the introduction of former Kidderminster Harriers and Stourport Swifts player Mark Dearlove made the visitors looked more solid.
Manager Richard Downey said: "It was a disappointing first half. We cannot continue to give silly goals away. The second half showing though, showed that we are heading in the right direction."
The club are desperate to improve their league position with the arrival of four new signings.Joining Dearlove are former Lye Town player Jordan Tipper and Duncan Palmer from Highley, while 18-year-old Martin Morris has been snapped up from Sunday league side Harriers Trust.
Morris has also figured for Bromyard Town Youth in the Midland Floodlit League.
They hope to recruit further reinforcements this week, and with injury victims Matt Fludgate, Steve Lowe and Lee Strain on the road to recovery, they are confident of turning the season around.
They will have their work cut out at home to Ellesmere Rangers at 2.45pm on Saturday.
