HITTING the County Cup trail brought Kidderminster Harriers Ladies their first win of the season as they won 4-1 at Worcester City.
Four goals from Emma Purslow did the damage, ensuring Kidderminster progress to the quarter-finals.
The pace of Rachel Baldwin also caused Worcester all sorts of problems, while Lisa Stokes and Janine Reegan both came close.
Goalkeeper Gemma Scriven, making her Harriers debut had no chance with Worcester's consolation goal late on.
They take on Rea Valley at home in the West Midlands Premier League on Sunday.
There was less joy for Harriers Reserves who lost 4-3 at home to Worcester Athletic in the Worcester County League - despite leading 2-1 at half-time with goals from Faye Kitchen and Becky Donnelly.
Harriers started the game with 10 players and were further weakened when Kirsty Sheppard limped off with an ankle injury.
Athletic capitalised with three second half goals, and a late strike from Kizz Wassell was not enough to prevent Kidderminster losing. On Sunday they are away at Malvern.
Burlish Olympic Ladies could scarcely believe it as they were knocked out of the county cup despite dominating their tie.
Olympic created a hatful of chances but were unable to stick the ball away as they lost 4-1 at Redditch United.
Debbie Prescott did notch for Burlish, but it was not enough to exiting the cup at the first hurdle. Carla Worrall was their player of the match. They return to Worcester County League action away at Droitwich on Sunday.
