HEREFORD United boss Graham Turner faces losing on-loan goalkeeper Jonathan Gould before Saturday's Conference clash at Carlisle United following an injury crisis at Preston North End.
Preston manager Billy Davies may recall Gould after the Coca-Cola Championship outfit's number one Andy Lonergan broke two bones in his hand.
Lonergan faces a long spell out and with Gavin Ward the only other available 'keeper for the Lilywhites, Davies might decide to cut short Gould's spell at the Bulls as cover.
Gould, 36, an ex-Scotland international with two full caps to his name, has been a star performer at Edgar Street this season and an ever present.
Turner will have to quickly dip into the transfer market or give a Conference debut to 20-year-old Ben Scott at Brunton Park if Gould heads back.
