WEST Midland Safari Park chiefs are putting the finishing touches to the final events of the season before its winter break.
Glow in the Park, the tourist attraction's illuminations, runs until Friday, October 29, while a Bonfire Bonanza will be the last major event of the year, on Saturday, October 30.
Anyone intending to attend the bonfire and firework extravaganza is being advised to go along early on the night. Gates open at 4pm, with the bonfire at 7pm, followed by fireworks at 7.45pm.
Last admission will be at 8.30pm, with the event drawing to a close at 10.30pm. Amusement rides and attractions will be open, together with the reptile house, Seaquarium and creepy crawlies section.
There is an admission charge for attending the Bonfire Bonanza. Anyone pre-purchasing tickets up until October 29 can save £1 off the price. They are available from the park's main reception.
The final day of the season is October 31.
