THE creators of Resident Evil have unleashed a treat in the form of Viewtiful Joe, a self-proclaimed, superhero kung-fu platform masterpiece!
Gamers take control of Joe, who battles his way through many enemies in an attempt to save his kidnapped girlfriend, Silvia.
Graphically Viewtiful Joe is presented in a colourful cartoon style. Joe has a variety of moves at his disposal to eliminate enemies and can execute them at any time.
For example, Joe has the ability to both slow down and speed up time.
Both abilities will need to be used throughout the game in order to progress.
Despite being around for just over a year on the GameCube, Viewtiful Joe is fresher than ever today. The newly released PS2 version even contains an exclusive guest appearance from Devil May Cry's Dante!
Simply put, Viewtiful Joe is an amazing platformer that merges cinematic cartoon-style visuals with a gripping storyline over seven exciting episodes.
It is an extremely addictive game which will have gamers hooked from start to finish. If you're looking for a refreshing change then Viewtiful Joe is for you.
