YOUNGER members of a Kidderminster social club have been given room to enjoy themselves.
A new room dedicated to their exclusive use has been opened following seven months of work by adult members of St George's Social Club in Radford Avenue, Kidderminster.
Among items installed to keep the youngsters entertained are table football and various other games which have been donated.
One of the club's senior members, Sylvia Dignam, and club president, Lol Edwards, teamed up with two of the younger brigade, Kimberley Wallace, 14, and Jacob Humphriss, nine, to celebrate the official opening of the room.
"We have been working on this project, which is an extension to the club, since April," said Mr Edwards.
"Members have done the work themselves. They have done a marvellous job."
St George's Social Club has around 250 members, ranging in age from children up to people in their 70s and 80s.
