AN annual fund-raising concert, held in memory of a former partner in a Kidderminster solicitors' practice, will be staged at Hartlebury Castle's Grand Hall on Friday, October 29.
Proceeds from the Betty Davis Concert will go to Kemp Hospice. The event was named in tribute to Betty Davis, who was with Painters Solicitors until her death four years ago.
Together with her sister, Joan Davis, she was a pioneer of the hospice movement in Kidderminster.
Painters is sponsoring the concert which, this year, features a mix of classical music and show tunes.
Artists lined up to appear include pianist Janine Smith and her fellow Sirens Dawn Foxall (mezzo-soprano) and Diana Sharp (soprano).
Paul Fisher, who played piano with Rod Summers at last year's concert returns, this time as a soloist.
Tickets, costing £17 each, include wine and canapes during the interval.
Tickets are available through the fund-raising department of Kemp Hospice, on 01562 865105.
