STAFF at Malvern Link Station have been highly commended for their customer service and rapport with customers.
The station was given the commendation at the East Midlands Centro/Central Trains Superstaff Awards on Tuesday (October 19).
Judges said staff provided a consistent level of customer service and had a good rapport with customers.
Malvern rail campaigner Jackie Carey agreed.
She said: "I travel regularly from Malvern Link Station and I think the staff there make the very best they can of a very bad job.
"They have to deal with a lot of delays and cancellations and haven't got loos or a cafe, so really they do have to work quite hard to keep people happy. I've got all the praise in the world for them."
Colwall Station was highly commended in the Most Improved Station category. Malvern Social Education Centre was also highly commended for improving the appearance of Malvern Link Station with a variety of gardening projects.
