"AT Christmas play and make good cheer, for Christmas comes but once a year."
So it was stated in the 16th Century. Then, and until relatively recently, Christmas meant one day off work, unless Christmas day happened to fall on a Sunday, in which case, hard luck, no extra day.
Now, it would appear, Christmas can be celebrated from the time the decorations go up until the time they come down, which in the case of Malvern Link, will be from the first week in October until the end of January next year.
Malvern now has four months of Christmas. May I wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year.
