MALVERN cyclist Liam Killeen and Upton horserider Leslie Law were among a host of athletes who gathered in London on Monday.
The cream of the country's sporting heroes were celebrating their achievements in this summer's Olympic Games.
Medal winners paraded through central London before joining a reception at Buckingham Palace for all the British athletes who took part.
Mr Law was presented with the three-day eventing gold medal, which he won after Germany's Bettina Hoy was penalised for a timing mistake. Mr Killen received an Olympic diploma after coming fifth in the cross-country mountain biking event.
The 22-year-old said: "I briefly spoke to Princess Anne and also saw the Queen - it was a good evening. It was particularly nice to meet up with the other Olympians."
