THE Vice President of the Law Society, Kevin Martin, has officially opened Morton Fisher's new offices in Worcester.
He was welcomed by Morton Fisher's senior partner Jim Quinn to the offices at Tythe House, The Tything, Worcester, which the firm has purchased to house its Worcester operations, in particular the head office of Morton Fisher's agriculture and rural business division.
This is headed by Iain Morrison, who believes that 21st Century demands for fast moving, proactive legal services had led Morton Fisher to move into the newly-modernised office space.
"We opened with nine staff in a High Street location in Worcester in 1991 and had a very strong legal aid practice, but now we are more focused in certain niche areas of the law," he said.
"Our rural business and rural affairs team of eight is one of the strongest outside of London.
"Our offices in The Foregate were charming but very higgledy-piggledy, and it would not have been easy to update them for the IT and communications needs of a modern law practice such as Morton Fisher."
