TWO businesses from Herefordshire and Worcestershire have made it through to the final stages of the national milk development council's Awards for Dairy Innovation.

Broadway-based Gorsehill Abbey Cheese, and The Dairy House Ltd, of Hereford, are both in the penultimate round of the competition.

Established in 2001, the awards aim to celebrate innovation in dairy development.

The winners will be revealed at a presentation lunch in London on Tuesday, November 23.
