PUPILS at Worcester's Bishop Perowne High School are using a novel way to learn about the natural world - Indian dancing.
Students at the Merrimans Hill Road school are being taught about the carbon cycle, such as photosynthesis, by the Chitraleka Dance Company, which will be performing this evening.
The Story of C is a modern tale told through classical Indian dance that incorporates thousands of years of understanding of the interaction between humans and the natural world.
Sarah Alexander, the school's dance teacher, said year 10 pupils would perform a 10-minute curtain raiser.
