A motorist was killed when he was thrown from his car while driving along the M5 in Worcestershire over the weekend.
Central Motorway Police are investigating the reason why the car, an Audi, overturned as it was travelling along the south bound carriageway between Junctions 4A and 5.
The two other passengers in the car were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital and treated for slight injuries following the crash, which happened at around 1am on Saturday.
Police say the dead man, who has not been named, is from Gloucestershire.
The carriageway between Junctions 4 and 5 had to be closed for most of the morning, causing major traffic disruption.
Central Motorway Police are appealing for witnesses and are asking anyone who saw what happened to call them on 0121 322 6025.
