A WORCESTER law firm has helped one of the UK's leading independent telephone maintenance companies in its successful listing on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM).

Telephone Maintenance Group (TMG), which was advised on its flotation by Worcester-based law firm Harrison Clark, now has a £1m-plus acquisition fund which managing director Jeff Williams is already looking to spend.

The firm is now strategically placed in the telephone maintenance sector in the tier below big players like BT, Cable & Wireless, Alcatel, and Siemens.

And Mr Williams thanked Harrison Clark for playing a big part in the success.

Experience

"We have used Harrison Clark for many years, and I suppose we chose them initially because they already knew our business, but they came into their own with this float," he said.

"We knew the people in their corporate team had the necessary experience and were confident that we would be getting the services of partners and very senior lawyers, rather than just junior staff.

"Over the past four or five years, Harrison Clark has been closely involved with almost every part of our business and has shown the ability to focus on our key issues quickly and effectively."
