FA VASE minnows Barnt Green Spartak have drawn neighbours Studley in the next round of the competition - a tie that has left manager GJ Singh with mixed emotions.
The Midland Combination Premier Division side have hit form on their travels lately culminating in Saturday's 4-2 extra time win at Barrow Town in the second qualifying round of the competition.
In contrast, results at their adopted Lye Meadow base have been a little less emphatic and it is Spartak who will have home advantage in the next round.
"At least we won't have to pay much in the way of travelling expences," Singh joked.
"But we are happy with the draw as it will give us a chance to compete against a side in the Midland Alliance - a league where we would like to be playing our football."
Studley reached the fifth round of last year's competition before going out in a replay at Gosport Borough. But that feat was enough to earn them a bye in to the second round of this year's FA Vase.
But although there have been a number of changes at the Warwickshire club, including the appointment of new manager Kevin Rowlands, Singh still considers his team to be the underdogs.
"There will be plenty of spice with it being a local derby but Studley will be delighted with the draw as they will see it as a game they should win.
"They have had a mixed start with some good results and some bad ones - a little similar to us."
The Vase clash takes place on Saturday, November 20.
