Kynoch 2, Pershore 3
PERSHORE maintained their unblemished start to the Coaching Solutions League campaign after coming through easily the toughest game of the season.
The visitors opened the scoring after a good move down the right flank.
Russell Scudamore picked out Gareth Rushton who delivered a ball into the circle. A deflection off a Kynoch stick fell to Crowley who, breaking in from the left flank, wrong-footed his marker before unleashing a rocket of a shot that gave the goalkeeper no chance.
Kynoch were soon level after a good short corner routine, from which they proved to be dangerous all day.
After the break, the hosts edged ahead from another short corner routine but an equaliser was instant when great vision from Toby McLaurin, with a 40-yard pass, found Jamie Hughes at the top of the home team's circle.
He unleashed a fierce rising shot that the keeper just managed to keep out, only for the ball to fall to the stick of Rushton on the line to score the easiest of tap-ins.
This spurred on the home side and only a brilliant save from Stuart White kept them out.
The final goal was a cruel blow to Kynoch as Pershore scored with a last minute break away instigated by Graeme Rushin, Rushton, James Rayner and Hughes to snatch the three points and return home happy.
