Review - Man and Boy at the Festival Theatre, Malvern (until Saturday).
ABSOLUTELY outstanding! Terence Rattigan's thought provoking play is done full justice by two of our top names from the world of stage, film and television - David Suchet's acting prowess and the excellent direction of Maria Aitken.
It's 1930s Manhattan - a world of spin and financial politics (nothing changes) - and a man who will let nothing stand in his way until the world and he faces a catastrophe.
It is then he faces the son (Ben Silverstone) who disowned him five years previously.
The emotions stirred by family, by love and the conflicts of big, big business clash powerfully to provide a totally absorbing night.
Anyone considering themselves a theatregoer must try to ensure they see this redoubtable revival.
