REDDITCH hockey sensation Jenny Mitchell has been handpicked for the Worcestershire Girls Under-17s squad.
St Augustine's High School pupil Jenny, 14, has been playing since the age of 11 and was spotted at the Worcestershire Youth Games recently.
After starting playing at Woodfield Middle School Jenny, of Oakenshaw South, has already debuted for the Redditch Ladies team at just 12 years old.
The teenage star has also represented Worcestershire School Girls Under-15s and now plays for the Oulton and West Warwickshire second team and is vice captain of the thirds squad.
Jenny's first outing for the county will be against Nottinghamshire on November 21 and will be playing in five other games before a county tournament gets underway.
Meanwhile, St Bede's Middle School pupil Charlotte Cole has been selected for the Worcestershire Under-13s hockey squad.
