STUDLEY will be hoping to emulate last season's unbelievable FA Vase run next month when they get their first outing in the competition against Midland Combination Premier outfit Barnt Green Spartak in the second round proper.
Bees boss Kevin Rowlands said the game has the potential to be a massive banana skin for his Midland Alliance side but added it could be the competition to spark his team's league form into life.
"We're all looking forward to it," said Rowlands after the draw on Monday morning.
"It could be a banana skin and a derby adds spice to any game so we'll be looking to go there, do a job and get a result."
Studley reached the fifth round of the competition last season which has earned them a bye into the second round proper and will be travelling to Spartak's adopted Lye Meadow ground on Saturday, November 20.
Meanwhile, Barnt Green scraped into the tie after defeating Barrow Town 4-2 after extra time in the first round.
Barnt Green manager GJ Singh said: "At least we won't have to pay much in the way of travelling expenses!
"But we are happy with the draw as it will give us a chance to compete against a side in the Midland Alliance - a league where we would like to be playing our football.
"Studley will be delighted with the draw as they will see it as a game they should win.
"They have had a mixed start with some good results and some bad ones - a little similar to us."
