Evesham Utd U-14 0,
Cinderford Tn 4
THE Robins were suffering from a hangover from the previous week's success and lost Saturday's game in a five-minute spell in the first half.
The visitors, and potential future league opponents, found the net twice after starting strongly, but never dominating as Evesham were more direct and created just as many chances with less possession.
The best chance came the way of David Huggins who saw his shot hit a post and rebound back into the arms of the Cinderford goalkeeper.
The second half was more scrappy as the weather deteriorated and Cinderford added two more.
Evesham's player of the match was central defender Tom Waghorn.
Peopleton U-16 0, Bredon 3
MISSING their regular goalkeeper and taking to the field with a bare 11 proved too much of a handicap for Peopleton.
Centre back Mike Bulford deputised in goal and he kept a clean sheet during a first half when the hosts were left with ten players following an injury to Matt Murphy.
Things got worse numerically after the break when anther player limped off and Bredon twice found the net to secure the win.
Peopleton had just eight players left on the pitch when the visitors netted a third on a miserable afternoon for the home side.
Littleton Jnrs U-14 5,
Lyppard Rgrs Reality 2
LITTLETON started brightly and Ryan Clarke was unlucky to see his shot from 20 yards rebound off a post.
The home side's approach work was excellent but, in the early part of the game, the final ball was poor and totally against the run of play Lyppard took the lead when the defence failed to clear a corner.
Littleton worked their way back into the game and Dan Keen's excellent through ball sent Lance Smith away. His run was halted illegally inside the penalty area and Steve Edghill confidently tucked away the spot-kick.
Just before half-time Keen again released Smith and he scored an excellent goal shooting across the keeper into the far corner.
The second half saw Littleton produce a much more confident performance and skipper Matt Taylor carried the ball from deep inside his own half beating several opponents before pulling the ball back for Phil Davis to confidently pick his spot for the third.
Josh Craze and Scott Clarke then worked an opening for Smith who blasted the ball past the keeper.
Littleton then conceded a sloppy goal before Luke Lowerson played an excellent pass through to Smith that he tucked away with his old confidence to complete his hat-trick.
Evesham Utd Robins U-9s 9,
L & B Badgers Wdrs 0
UNITED made it five straight wins and they are still to concede a goal this season.
Player of the match Dominic Berry had another solid performance at the back and this allowed the rest of the team to control the midfield and create openings in attack.
After Liam Tustin had bagged the first of his four goals it was one-way traffic and Jack Davis and Sol Sanchez also scored before the break.
Only a superb performance from the opposing goalkeeper kept the score down to 3-0 at half-time.
Robins again took control after the break and they scored further goals with Sanchez completing his hat-trick.
There were three more for Tustin and one from Sam Cainey completed an excellent display in difficult conditions.
Evesham Utd Girls U-13 4,
Bredon Colts 4
A LATE equaliser from Katie Armento earned Evesham a point from Satur-day's highly entertaining contest.
The same player had earlier opened the scoring only for Bredon to level within a minute.
Josie Symonds restored Evesham's lead from a corner only for Bredon to level again but it was 3-2 when Armento struck just before the break.
Colleen Penrose pulled off a superb penalty save only to be beaten by the follow-up but Armento completed her second successive treble to earn a point.
