I WOULD like to convey my grateful thanks for the excellent way I was treated recently at the Alexandra Hospital right from our first emergency call in the early hours to my return home a few days later.

The paramedics arrived in just over ten minutes and treatment was given. Unfortunately, and with back up from my GP, my husband and my son had to take me to the Accident and Emergency Department and we were seen within twenty minutes.

Thorough examinations were carried out in a most sympathetic manner and each member of the nursing staff gave all treatment in the same way. One's dignity was upheld at all times.

My thanks to all on the Blue Team and Ward 11. Finally the food served to patients there is very good quality indeed. From choices given, one can enjoy a very substantial and tasty meal - both at lunchtime and in the evening.

So a big round of applause to one and all!
