AT the October meeting of Rubery WI the minutes were read and noted and it was announced that some members will be attending the lunch at Great Witley, while others will go to the council meeting in Bromsgrove - an added bonus for us.
Dave Cartwright was our speaker for the evening on "Being a Magistrate". He had served on the bench for about 12 years and was both informative and knowledgeable. A most interesting evening to the extent that some of our members will be visiting the law courts over the coming months - but not as criminals!
After a cup of tea, the evening ended with a short quiz.
