Evesham and District Table Tennis Association

THE MK Technical Service Divisions are now under way at Evesham High School on Friday nights.

In Division 3A, Littleton Rock and Rollers' Bob Beswick beat both Jamie Anderson and Sam Thomson from clubmates Legends.

The losing pair, though, then defeated Freddie Beswick before Anderson and Joe Watson took the doubles to give the Legends a 3-2 victory.

Littleton Blades' Leanne Sully beat Jamie Brown 11-9, 6-11, 11-8, 11-6 but Brown and Colin Green won the other four games to give Wyre Destroyers victory.

The Sellick sisters - Rachael and Katie - from Ashton Angels got the better of father Keith and son Ross Pankhurst from Littleton Gremlins. Rachael won both her singles while her sister overcame Ross.

Roz Jones partnered Keith Pankhurst in the doubles which they won to earn an extra point despite the 3-2 defeat.

In Division 3B, newcomers Pershore Plums started with a 5-0 victory over Blackminster Bullets thanks to Stuart Grant and Jamie Madden.

Leaping Leopards' Liam Wilson and Jamie Sellick also started with a 5-0 victory against SDM Rangers.

Closest

The closest match in the division was Littleton Stars' 3-2 success against Blackminster Bats. Daniel Brown and James Parry-Reece both beat Jon Spinks and then won the doubles. Liam Hundley beat both his Littleton opponents.

In Division 3C, Littleton Bests' Simon Whitehouse, Ella Parry-Reece and Rob Bennett beat Blackminster Bears 5-0.

Andrew and Thomas Hemming from SDM Batba-shers just got the better of Patricia Taylor and Callum Gailey of Littleton Allsorts 3-2 when all four players made their first league appearances.

Four other players to make their league bows were Blackminster Bees' Gavin Perkins and Dan Linton who beat SDM Eagles' Karl Clissold and Scott Coulson 4-1.
