PARISH COUNCIL: Fish and Anchor Bank: It was reported that documents are being prepared for the work to go to tender.
Bus Shelter (crossroads): Notification had been received from Worcestershire County Council that the parish council would need to meet Severn Trent regarding the siting of the shelter and would also be responsible for any costs incurred.
Proposed School Crossing: Following information from Worcestershire County Council that no children had crossed Cleeve Road to go to school in the summer, a further survey has been carried out in September. No results are yet known.
Blakes Hill: An order has now been posted regarding the closure of Blakes Hill for re-surfacing. This will take place in early November.
Village Hall: It was reported that this will be removed in the future.
Electricity Failure: Following the numerous occasions of supply interruption the parish council are to invite a member of the electricity company to attend a meeting.
Flood Alleviation: Members of the parish council had met the Environment Agency project team to discuss proposed work to be carried out in the parish. A public meeting is to be held on November 4, at 7pm in the village hall to inform parishioners of this. It is proposed to carry out the work in the summer of 2005.
Pound: A telegraph pole has been placed on The Pound. As this is a registered village green BT are to be asked to remove the pole immediately.
National Playing Fields Association: It was agreed to draw up a Deed of Dedication for the play areas in Manor Road to ensure that these will remain available for open space recreation.
Play Area (swing): It was reported the small child swing has been vandalised. It was agreed, for health and safety reasons, to remove the swing for possible repair.
Village Signs: It was reported that various name signs need attention. It was agreed to request Worcestershire County Council to renew these.
Tree: The tree on the small area of grass in North Littleton has died. It was agreed to remove this and look into the possibility of replacing the tree with a container for plants.
