STOURPORT Ladies extended their winning run in Worc-estershire Division One to five matches with a 5-0 defeat of Bournville seconds.

They dominated the game from start to finish and goalkeeper Sarah Cra-nton was a virtual spectator with just one save to make.

Stourport led 1-0 at half-time thanks to a Fran Long goal and made their superiority count after the break with doubles from Katie Clowes and Jodi Vincent.

The table-topping team take a break this Saturday but return to action the following weekend with a tough test against neighbours Bromsgrove.

Stourport seconds also continued their unbeaten run in Division Two, with a 3-0 victory over Camp Hill.

Two of the goals came in the first half, through Leanne Matthews and Lucy Holmes, and Matt-hews added a second soon after the interval.

Despite a delayed start due to leaves on the lines of the pitch, Stourport thirds also retained their unbeaten rec-ord, 5-0 over hosts Bromsgrove. With a minute of the first half to go, Andi Thomas crossed from the right to Kathy Doyle, who put the ball into the right of the goal.

Stourport extended their lead five minutes into the second half, through Cally Taylor, and Kara Sunburk added two goals, Teri Baron one in the final minute.

While the first three teams are enjoying successive victories, the fourths are not doing so well, with a run of defeats compou-nded by a 2-1 loss at Malvern on Saturday.

Amy Miller was the lone scorer for Stourport, in the second half, when the Stourport pressure deserved more goals.

They had a chance to secure their first point of the season in the dying minutes of the match when Kim O'Connor crossed to youngster Hannah Griffiths, but she failed to connect.

With the firsts and fourths still waiting to see if they have a game, the seconds and thirds take on their Harborne counterparts.
