THERE was a string of medals for Wyre Forest competitors at the City of Hull gymnatics event, Jamie Dancyger leading the way with five golds.
Joshua Whale took four and a silver, Sophie Lane three gold and two silver, and Marianne Westhoff a bronze.
This weekend Caroline and Debbie Allen-Trew, and Steven Boyce, all from Kidderminster, head to South Africa to swim for Britain in the World Downs Syndrome Swimming Championships.
Meanwhile, Claire Andrews, Dancyger and Philip Woodyatt were in the Worcestershire A team which wonbronze at the regional five-a-side football competition at Stoke.
Richie Styles, Martin Jones, Matthew Jones and Ellie Jones were in the B team, which finished seventh. The next event for the club is the Special Olympics Dudley Uni-hoc competition in Stourbridge on Sunday.
