CHADDESLEY made light of the conditions as they racked up a convincing 53-5 win - including nine tries - in their friendly with Birmingham Wyvern.
They out-classed their opponents with the forwards dominating in set and loose play and the backs trying to play expansive rugby wherever possible.
Rowan Vorster led the way with a hat-trick of tries, two of them coming before the break as Chaddesley racked up a 36-0 interval lead.
Carl Booth also touched down twice with Charlie D'auncy, James Cameron, Adam Forgeil-Jenkins and Tony Redford also scoring.
There were three conversions from Nick White and one from Henry Fellows to round off the scoring with Wyvern grabbing a last minute consolation try.
They return to North Mids South Two action at home to Bromyard on Saturday. The seconds, whose match with Evesham was called off, are away at Bromyard.
There were convincing wins for Chaddesley Corbett's under-10s and under-8s against their Redditch counterparts.
Dan Vale scored five tries as the under-10s triumphed 50-0 with Bill Martyn Smith (2), Nick Cross, Ben Sutton and Alex Llewellyn also on the mark.
Declan Hadley's hat-trick of tries helped the under-8s to their eight try to two success with Daniel Wilde (2), Ally Westwood and Ed Roden Smith also crossing.
