Members of the Wyre Forest group, and of Bewdley Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) staged a silent vigil in Load Street, Bewdley, on October 16, to protest against the killing of children in the world today, by those in authority.
Examples included: countries such as China and the USA which still execute people convicted of crimes committed when they were children; countries, especially in central America, where homeless street children are killed by the police or government-tolerated vigilantes.
There was much interest shown in the group's placards and leaflets by passers-by.
The next outdoor event will be a stall at Bewdley Christmas charity market on Saturday, November 27, to encourage sending Christmas cards to prisoners of conscience.
