A SERVICE station in Kidderminster can be redeveloped, councillors have agreed.
The scheme involves the building of a Tesco Express store as part of a new petrol station at Bewdley Hill.
The plans were given the green light by members of Wyre Forest District Council's planning (development control) committee on October 19.
The plans had been changed and the sales building would now be built further away from the road, said case officer, Paul Round. He added the Esso plans were "acceptable with respect to the impact on the street scene".
