TWO people escaped with minor injuries after their car skidded off the road, rolled on to its roof and caught fire, before sliding into a picnic area.
The incident took place at around 9.45am yesterday and the vehicle came to rest in a hedge near the Old Hills area of Callow End, near Worcester.
The emergency services were called and the pair were treated by paramedics at the roadside, but not taken to hospital. Fire crews arrived and made the car safe.
