THE Upton in Bloom committee held its annual meeting on Wednesday.
About 40 people attended the meeting, in the Church Rooms. Jenny Comber, from Worcester Heart of England in Bloom, presented prizes to the winners of the residents' competition.
Member Bill Dovey resigned and two new members were elected onto the committee. Plans for next year's entry in the Heart of England in Bloom competition were also discussed.
The committee was told the children's art competition would be on the theme of litter and entries will be judged by a member of the Heart of England in Bloom panel, for the first time.
Members discussed the possibility of putting baskets of flowers on poles in the Pepperpot and of decorating the bridge. The committee will discuss plans further at a meeting on November 10.
