THERE'S a dj vu feeling about Worcester before their French assault.
The Warriors make just the one change to the team which over powered Brive as they focus on tomorrow's European Challenge Cup second leg.
Matt Powell returns to the line-up as the Sixways side take a 29-15 lead into the away clash. The scrum-half replaces Clive Stuart-Smith but, crucially, coaches John Brain and Andy Keast have kept faith with the pack which proved too much for the Frenchmen.
Craig Gillies was expected to return to the line-up but Phil Murphy impressed enough in Saturday's first leg to be given another chance at lock, while Ben Daly continues at hooker with Andre Van Niekerk named as a replacement.
"Andre hasn't played much of a part in training this week," said head coach Andy Keast. "He got a bang on the head against Gloucester so he's easing his way back. We thought about the front row but Steve Sparks did very well against Brive in the first leg on Saturday and deserves another go.
"That was the same with Phil Murphy. Craig Gillies is on the bench and, as we've always said at Worcester, performances matter not the reputations."
Powell, who is now established as Worcester's number one scrum-half, is preferred to Stuart-Smith as the Warriors prepare for their first ever away Euro test.
"It's going to be a very different experience for the players," added Keast. "They need to be mentally strong because the atmosphere will be electric in Brive. We will get there a little earlier than a normal away match so the players can get used to their surroundings.
"We expect Brive to make changes so it's going to be a test for the players but I think the experience will stand them in good stead."
Tommy Hayes is named among the replacements but a late decision will be made to see if he can be involved.
