Fairport Convention founder Iain Matthews will entertain at Colwall Village Hall on Friday, November 12.
Described as 'the high priest of British folk', the musician is also known for his work with Plainsong and Matthews Southern Comfort in a career spanning three decades.
He recently released a new CD Zumbach's Coat, a collection of his own songs, also featuring David Webb, Bradley Kopp and Mark Hallman.
He will appear with New Zealand country guitarist and songwriter Richard Kennedy, who has played with artists including The McGarrigles, Curtis Styger and Marshall Crenshaw. The concert is at 8pm and tickets cost from £5 to £10 from 01684 540366.
