CLIVE Stuart-Smith completed the formalities of his Sixways move yesterday.
The England Under 21 skipper signed up for Worcester's Premiership baptism to make him John Brain's second swoop this week after clinching Pat Sanderson's signature.
And Worcester's director of rugby couldn't hide his joy at the double deal.
"I think Clive is a very positive acquisition for Worcester along with Pat Sanderson," said Brain.
"Clive is a top, English qualified player. The fact that he's chosen to come to us I think is significant because it sends out a message to the rest of rugby that this is the place to be.
"I think when you are recruiting top, young English players on the verge of international honours then it is a positive message to send out.
"We're delighted to have them both on board."
