WORCESTER City fans have voted to form a supporters' trust following a meeting at St George's Lane last night.
Around 60 people gathered to hear speakers, including Chris Dobbs from RUST (Rotherham United Supporters Trust), on the proposals which in essence are about increasing fan power and giving supporters a greater say in the running of the club.
Club captain Carl Heeley was among those in attendance and the motion to establish a trust was passed with just two fans against the idea.
There are currently 103 trusts nationwide with Coventry City the latest club to go down this route.
Meanwhile, left-back Kevin Halliday has suffered a setback after surgery for cartilage damage this week revealed a further injury. The surgeon discovered cruciate ligament damage and the 19-year-old will need to go under the knife again next week.
There was better news for defender Barry Woolley who has started light training for the first time since cracking two ribs in the Crawley Town defeat.
