Worcester City face a testing first outing in this year's FA Cup with a second qualifying round visit to rivals Nuneaton Borough on Saturday, September 27.

The two club also meetin the league at Manor Park the following Saturday.

Meanwhile, Mick Tuohy has urged Worcester City's supporters to trust manager John Barton as his side battle to emerge from a mini two-game slump.

City's assistant manager spoke out after comments were aimed at the team following Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Tiverton Town at St George's Lane.

"We are bitterly disappointed to lose but this time last week we were top of the league and it only becomes a crisis if people don't trust us," he said.

"It seems there is a funny atmosphere as if people are waiting for a pack of cards to fall. That gets through to players but from our point of view we just want to get on with it and give as good as we can."

Despite chalking up five wins Worcester have struggled to find their form and Tuohy believes some supporters are running short of patience.
