WORCESTER City's luck with injuries shows no sign of changing after it was revealed Kevin Halliday requires surgery.
The full-back could be out for six to eight weeks according to manager John Barton after a scan pinpointed ligament and cartilage damage to his knee.
The 19-year-old defender, who picked up the injury in pre-season, will go under the knife next week.
Meanwhile, Barton is set to field an unchanged side for tomorrow's Dr Martens Premier Division clash with Dorchester Town at St George's Lane (3pm).
The City boss admits he has tinkered with the idea of introducing midfielder David Foy who has impressed in recent substitute appearances, but looks likely to opt on the side of caution.
David Holmes and Pat Lyons boost their match fitness with a run-outs in the reserves at Shepshed.
Victory against the Magpies will keep City in top spot and despite a less then impressive display against Hinckley in mid-week, Barton insists it's all about picking up three points.
