DAN Zaltzman has been handed the chance to reignite his season with a starting role at Henley on Saturday.
The Worcester Rugby Club lock, who has been out of favour for most of the campaign, is selected ahead of Mark Gabey for the National One clash at Dry Leas (2.30pm).
The league leaders will go 18 points clear at the top if they pick up a bonus point victory at Henley and, with Zaltzman looking hungry for action, coach Andy Keast said it was time to give him a chance.
"We've put Zaltzman in be-cause we felt he showed more impact at the game at Wakefield than Mark Gabey," said Keast.
"We thought he deserved a chance to start because he's very hungry to play."
Zaltzman and Christian Evans come into the league leaders' side, while prop Neil Lyman has won back his tight-head spot. Russell Earnshaw is on compassionate leave so is unavailable.
Worcester will make a late decision on centre Ben Hinshelwood after the centre picked up an ankle injury in Scotland's weekend defeat to England in the Six Nations.
Hinshelwood will undergo a fitness test tomorrow and the result of that will decide the make up of the bench with David Officer set to replace him in the starting line-up if he fails the test.
With James Brown ruled out because of a fractured thumb, Tommy Hayes continues at fly half while Worcester will make a late decision on either Wes Davies or Jon Hylton for the left wing spot. The winger who loses out will sit on the bench if Officer plays.
New signing Neil Cole takes his place on the bench after an impressive cameo at College Grove in Worcester's last league outing.
"We had a thought of playing Neil Cole from the start but, because of the few changes we've got in the backs, we thought we would go with Matt Powell," added Keast.
"Matt Powell knows he didn't have the best game against Wakefield and he knows he's got Cole breathing down his neck. What we went for was stability."
Team: O'Leary; Garrard, Hinshelwood (Officer), Trueman, Davies (Hylton); Hayes, Powell; Windo, Daly, Lyman, Zaltzman, Gillies, C Evans, Pfister, Hickey. Reps: Cole, Higgins, Officer, Hall, Fortey, Gabey, M Evans.
