WORCESTER City boss John Barton is confident that new signing Leon Kelly will be fit to play in tomorrow's Dr Martens Premier Division opener against Havant and Waterlooville at St George's Lane (3pm).
Kelly suffered a thigh injury in Monday's friendly at Stourport Swifts but did some light training last night and is expected to be OK.
But another of City's summer signings, Kevin Halliday, misses out with a knee injury picked up in the friendly at Bishop's Cleeve.
David Foy and Pat Lyons also miss out along with the honeymooning Paul Carty and suspended skipper Carl Heeley. David Holmes will play for the reserves at Barwell tomorrow.
