WORKERS in Worcester will be kicking off their shoes and taking a break tomorrow as they are treated to a host of complementary therapies in a bid to combat their stress levels.
The Chamber of Commerce Herefordshire and Worcestershire is taking part in National Stress Awareness Day.
Now in its seventh year, the day, which is run by the International Stress Management Association, is focusing on the theme Working together to Reduce Stress at Work.
The chamber is taking the theme to its heart and has organised a full day of complementary therapy sessions for its employees at its office in Worcester, including aromatherapy massages, facials, Reiki, reflexology, Indian head massages, deep tissue massages and chair massages.
Deborah Clarke-Sutton, spokeswoman for the organisation, said: "Staff can choose their preferred treatment - and then just lay back and enjoy it!
"The treatments will be backed up by the introduction of a new Chamber of Commerce Stress Policy detailing the processes in place to address stress in the workplace."
