MEDIEVAL tile paintings and misericords are among the subjects covered in Worcestershire Archaeological Society's programme of forthcoming lectures.
Lord Rowlands, of the History of Parliament Trust, will give the next lecture on Monday, November 15 at 2.15pm.
His subject will be "Great Tom," the Foleys in late 17th Century Worcestershire and Herefordshire politics.
The society's annual general meeting on Monday, November 29, at 2.15pm, will be followed by Tim Bridges, of Worcester City Museums, speaking about the Hore Medieval Tile Paintings.
In January and February, subjects will include Hewell Grange: Landscape and Architecture 1700-1900, the Deansway Excavations 1988-9: a Retrospective and Misericords, with special reference to Malvern, Ripple and Worcester.
All meetings will be held at Worcester Association for the Blind, 2 Sansome Walk, Worcester.
