SIX weeks have passed and so it's clear that the county council has declined to test the validity of its proposed future for Chrissies at the High Court.
Four years and hundreds of thousands of pounds have resulted, without a murmur from County Hall, in a plan that can officially be declared dead.
The council is required to maintain an Asset Management Plan for all its schools. It must therefore know what it thinks is in store for the school in the future.
The council's unofficial spokespersons appear to have been tipped off that the council will try to resurrect precisely the same flawed scheme sometime in the future.
Whatever the case, it is imperative that parents at all schools in the Chrissies pyramid are formally told what's on Julien Kramer's mind rather than having to rely on confusing soundbites in the Press.
PAUL SAUNDERS,
